Ira Jackson


Ira Jackson, Jr. has served as President of Perfect Image since 1991. With more than 25 years of experience and success in the commercial printing, sales and service industries, Jackson is passionate about helping Perfect Image employees, clients, vendors and business partners excel. He is committed to advancements in the commercial printing industry, and to strategic marketing support solutions that optimize client value when choosing Perfect Image’s award-winning services.

Jackson long ago positioned Perfect Image as an early adopter of new technologies, methodologies and industry standard quality control systems. His approach to excellence in all facets of the operation, strong sales and service acumen, and selection of the most qualified and dedicated operations and business management personnel have made Perfect Image a leader in its class, consistently delivering the highest quality products and services to clients.

Throughout his career, Jackson has been a member of many community, industry and civic organizations. These include The First Tee of East Lake Board of Directors, the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club, the Emory Board of Visitors, Diversity Council – The Westminster Schools, Leadership Georgia, the Christian Coalition Board of Directors, The Westminster Alumni Board, Metro Atlanta Super Bowl Host Committee Board of Directors, Leadership Atlanta Class of 1999, United Way Volunteer, Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council Board of Directors, Atlanta Office of the National Urban League Board of Directors, Printing Industry Association of Georgia Board of Directors, Atlanta Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Printing Industry of Georgia, and Digital/Columbia Adopt-A-School Program Co-Chairman.

Jackson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. He is also a graduate of the Harvard Business School’s Summer Venture in Management Program in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He has completed the Advanced Management Education Program at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University in Chicago, and also attended the Tuck School of Business - Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire.

Charles Kelley

Vice President - Business Development

As Vice President - Business Development for Perfect Image, Charles Kelley oversees development and expansion of the company's client base and revenues, and is also heavily involved in client and project management, marketing support services and ongoing initiatives for client service improvements.

Kelley is a veteran of the commercial printing industry, having held several executive, business development and sales roles over the past three decades. Prior to joining Perfect Image, he served for 10 years in a similar capacity for a large-size commercial printing company in Atlanta. For almost 20 years he was self-employed, operating his own commercial printing company in Atlanta. Before commencing his career in print, Kelley was a banking officer with Citizens and Southern National Bank (predecessor to Bank of America) and Vice President / Executive Director of the Interracial Council for Business Opportunity (ICBO), both in Atlanta.

Over the years, Kelley has managed the print production of many high profile, historic printed pieces, including final rites programs for Mrs. Coretta Scott King, her daughter Yolanda, and former Atlanta Mayor Maynard Jackson. He has also printed official programs for the celebrations of poet Maya Angelou's 85th birthday, Rev. Dr. Joseph Lowery's 85th birthday, former Ambassador and Atlanta Mayor Andrew Young's 75th birthday, the Trumpet Awards and many others.

His extensive community and civic involvements span more than 30 years and include many board member and committee chair posts for organizations such as Cascade United Methodist Church, 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Morehouse College Alumni Association, Leadership Atlanta, the Atlanta Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and the University Community Development Corporation. Kelley has been honored with several awards for his service, including the Meritorious Service Award from the Morehouse College Alumni Association; the Boy Scouts of America Silver Beaver Award and Whitney M. Young, Jr. Service Award; the Adams Park Residents Association's Outstanding Service Award as President; and the Appreciation Award for Committee Leadership from 100 Black Men of Atlanta.

Kelley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Morehouse College in Atlanta.

Gregg LaVangie

Operations Manager

Gregg LaVangie joined Perfect Image as Operations Manager in April 2014, bringing more than two decades of experience in printing business operations and management.

At Perfect Image, LaVangie has direct oversight of the company’s ‘More than’ standard of excellence in performance and client satisfaction. This includes ongoing analysis and improvements in processes, quality assurance, information systems management and all operational functions. Beyond plant operations and related staffing, training and development, all estimating, pricing, procurement, planning, production and associated cost and profit centers are also under LaVangie’s leadership and direction. A veteran of the commercial printing industry, LaVangie’s career has been dedicated to amassing expertise in operations, with emphasis on best practices for achieving efficiencies in operations, information systems, processes and performance.

Prior to joining Perfect Image, LaVangie managed purchasing and planning for H&W Printing in Atlanta. Beyond successful vendor negotiations and planning, LaVangie instituted a new inventory system and work flows that significantly improved H&W processes, operations and cost controls.

LaVangie spent the greater portion of his career with Offset Atlanta, part of a national network of printing companies, where he served as Operations Manager and earlier, Estimator. During LaVangie’s 16-year tenure, Offset Atlanta’s annual sales grew from approximately $3 million to over $12 million. LaVangie began his career in 1992 as a bindery worker for the University of Georgia printing department, where he mastered a craft and equipment that uniquely positioned him for advancement in operations.

LaVangie is a 1988 graduate of the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Virginia, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.

Barbara Pines, CPA

Accounting Manager

As Accounting Manager and a member of the Perfect Image Management and Executive Teams, Barbara Pines is a certified public accountant (CPA) whose experience in the accounting and financial industry spans 50 years. In addition to overseeing all accounting services, purchasing and payroll, and producing financial analyses and annual budgets for the company, Pines is also involved in Perfect Image’s marketing, business development, client service, human resources and operations initiatives.

Prior to joining Perfect Image in 2004, Pines was a Partner with H.R. Margolis Company of Philadelphia (now operating as Margolis Becker LLC), the accounting firm long known for its leadership and expertise in the printing and graphic arts industries. The company is also a financial consultant to Printing Industries of America/Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (PIA/GATF). Pines’ accounting career began in 1961 with H.R. Margolis, known at the time as Margolis, Finkel, VonBosse.

Highlighting Pines’ longstanding and successful career in the accounting industry, in 2004 she earned lifetime member status with the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs, following 40 years of membership in both organizations. She has been a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs since 2004.

Pines holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Temple University in Philadelphia, where she graduated first in her class.

Lynn J. Stafford

Administrative Business Manager

Lynn Stafford joined Perfect Image in 2004. She is a member of the Management Team and multiple interdepartmental teams, including the Quality Control, Sales and Digital NEXPRESS Production Teams. A strong administrative generalist, Stafford also serves on the Business Operations Team, involved in the ongoing review of policies and procedures to promote rapid issues resolution, operational improvements and brand excellence.

Stafford’s responsibilities include oversight of middle management training and development, as well as insurance and benefits administration. She also tracks compliance with the latest human resources changes and regulations. As Administrative Business Manager, Stafford specializes in project planning, service and support for small business clients, focusing on digital products and services to help customers meet goals through print and multi-channel communications. She also supports Perfect Image’s marketing outreach and business development programs, staying abreast of printing market trends and market conditions.

Prior to joining Perfect Image, Stafford spent 15 years with the Fulton County Government in Comprehensive Planning, Human Services, Finance and most recently as Juvenile Court Deputy Administrator. Earlier in her career, she was granted a Series 7/General Securities license from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and worked as an associate investment banker with E.F. Hutton & Co.

Stafford holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychobiology/French from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Texas School of Law at Austin.
