Perfect Image Taps Rod Smith as Executive VP, General Manager
MARIETTA, Ga., April 30, 2024 – Perfect Image, the award-winning commercial printer and marketing support partner based in Marietta, Georgia, today announced a major leadership realignment with the appointment of Rumonda “Rod” Smith as executive vice president – general manager, a newly created role adding depth and strength to the company’s leadership team. As part of the realignment, Ron Bedingfield, production manager for the firm since 2019, has been promoted to plant manager.
Smith is a veteran of the commercial printing and vertical technology consulting industries, bringing more than 30 years of management, IT, and client service expertise to Perfect Image. He is responsible for daily operations and financial and print production performance at Perfect Image, an all-encompassing role with oversight of business strategy development, planning, budgeting, systems integration, quality control, scheduling, purchasing, team management, professional development, and talent acquisition and retention.

Before joining Perfect Image, Smith was a professional services consultant specializing in implementation and training for print industry enterprise resource planning (ERP) and management information systems (MIS), most recently for Eastman Kodak Company, and earlier for EFI Pace (now ePS), also a global print industry solutions provider. Smith previously held several management and service roles at print and graphics firms across the Southeast United States. He earned a degree in Print Production Management from Chowan University in Murfreesboro, North Carolina, where he graduated magna cum laude.
